I only have the first one. I'll have to wait until my next holiday to France to get the next two, if I remember and can still be bothered. But I might do. I'm giving up French at the end of this year, so it would be a good way to make sure I don't forget all of what I've learned over the past 6 years.

Yeah, I'm British, I know GCSEs well. I took mine last year. I've done French for AS, but I'm not taking it all the way through A2 as well. I had my speaking exam on Thursday.

Alot of people I know in the year above that do french are giving it up after one year, it must be difficult. I have to go now, nice talking to you. Nighty night.

Bye! I think I'm the only one dropping French in my group...but then, our French group has only ten people. Not many people were daft enough to do French for AS...

I'm dropping both Art and Ceramics(pottery, lots of people ask me what it is, I always thought it was obvious.)The workload is too much, its not exactly difficult, just the work. I am taking up two more subjects next year and staying on sixth form an extra year.

Your art and ceramics stuff is amazing though, I didn't know you were going to drop them.

Ceramics? That's unusual.

I did Art for GCSE and spent one and a half years regretting it. The workload is insane compared with something like maths.

I understand Nahira, I had several stress fits towards the end of year 11. My year co-ordinator actually wrote me a note saying I didn't have to do homeowrk for my other subjects until I had done my art(and graphics, that was evil too! ) Which brightened up things. I regret picking it at AS, it is still 60% coursework and because I am doing Ceramicsalso I have twice as much to do. Your sketchbook has to be around twice as long as your one at GCSE and you have got one year to do it in and I am doing that for two subjects so it around *calculates stuff* 4 times as worse as GCSE. *is under so much stress.* I didn't have any sleep at all last night as I was up doing loads of art and ceramics. Its really embaressing actually as when I'm under alot of stress I cry, even if I'm in the middle of a class. Argh the deadlines are looming nearer. Sorry if I am not online much, Aquene and Tain will take care of everything. Sorry about that outburst, I will be back to normal in a few seconds. *goes and gets a cup of tea.* ;D

*pats* I understand...I did Graphics at GCSE as well...I think I could have handled either one of them on their own, but both was just too much. As a result I became discouraged from doing either at AS. It's a shame, really, because I'm not that bad at either. I just didn't have the time.

You did graphics too? Kool. Yeah, I did rather well in art at GCSE, I got an A, but Graphics I got a C, lol. But this year I think I will get a C or D in both art and ceramics as I don't have enough time to dedicate to just one. I mean my workj is good but there isn't enough of it. My exhibition is going to be so empty, lol.

I got a B in graphics, and a C in Art...my exhibition was almost none-existant...all my pieces were only half finished. My largest piece just fell apart completely, and I had nothing to fill the space. It was a papier mache person, and it was the first thing I made in year 10. It didn't last...

Alot of my stuff got wrecked from year 10, going to hunt for it in year 11 was a nightmare. I find that papier mache goes mouldy myself, it's wierd.. I used to draw for fun all the time, now it is near impossible. That's what I miss and that's why I am dropping both of them. I was going to carry on with Ceramics(it is so much fun! ;D ) but having another skecthbook didn't appeal to me.
